The Kopsa Family Performs Again at the GPBOTMA May Show

Kopsa family perform at GPBOTMA May show held at the American Legion #1 Omaha
The Kopsas 5/15 GPBOTMA Show

The Kopsa family was back by popular demand to open for the monthly show/jam of the Great Plains Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association.  Their performance was again well received and made introduction to the newest member who’s adding banjo and some vocals.  Time’s moving on for the family and with college on the horizons and more demands on everyone’s time, this could be a unique event for the Kopsas.  Their first CD, “Lord lead me on”,  was recorded late 2013 at Tesco Productions and received high reviews from its listeners.  Copies are still available and I’ll put you in touch with them if you’d like to have one.

All grins in pickin’!

Their presentation was followed by an hour plus of Bob Black and Banjoy.  This five piece group was also greatly enjoyed as they sang and played songs by a number of  artists.  The GPBOTMA holds their monthly event at the first American Legion organized in the United States, located at 78th & Davenport in Omaha.  The summer will be a reprieve from the monthly meetings due to summer festivals and other activities that keep folks busy during this time.  They’ll resume meeting again on the first Sunday in October.

Tesco Productions Tapped Again for Home Instead Senior Care Convention Audio at the Omaha CenturyLink Center

Tesco Productions engineers convention audio for Home Instead Senior Care at the CenturyLink
Say “Audio”

Home Instead Senior Care, an Omaha-based company that provides services that enable an elderly loved one to stay in their home, expands their presence once a year at the Omaha CenturyLink Convention Center during their annual International Convention.  For the past eight years Tesco Productions has been asked by Sonburst Communications (the event managing company) to engineer all the audio events in the main ballroom.   It’s always great to meet the owners and staff of Home Instead Senior Care again, as well as the other production crew members.  All personnel involved comprise a great team and the convention reflects this cooperation and effort.

Carlene Crom Has Vocal Student Record College Demo

This past week Carlene Crom arranged to have one of her vocal students record a college entrance demo at Tesco Productions. Emily B. beautifully laid down three songs which showcased her hard work, her given talent as well as Carlene’s coaching. It’s always a real privilege to provide an opportunity for a young person to make a solid presentation toward their studies and career. Everyone seemed to ultimately enjoy the experience and we all hope and pray the recordings will serve their purpose well.
Carlene teaches students and hosts music events at The Main Stage Performing Arts Center in Tabor, IA. If you would like more information concerning lessons or upcoming shows drop me an email and I’ll put you in touch with her.Carlene Crom & Emily B. record college demo at Tesco Productions
