Progress Continues On One For All Musical Theater’s Music

The pace has been fast and consistent laying down parts and incorporating orchestration for the next production of One For All Musical Theater. What was initially reported as an 18 song project has now expanded to 23, covering a wide range of musical styles and expression. Keith Wilson has laid down a number of acoustic and bass parts, and in addition Tim Tyler has provided many hours of production skills for orchestration and percussion. Nick Swoboda will be in next week for another drum session, and there’s been two vocal recordings so far. It’s a very big project, and it’s good to hear the songs come together to support and tell the story of their next musical.

The Kopsa Family Records Third CD

In March I mentioned the Kopsas were planning to record their third CD at Tesco Productions. There was a pause for a significant family event following the recording, which I hinted at in that same post. We’ve now runoff the initial mix of those songs and our goal is to have the final product done later in June. It promises to be an enjoyable listen as you’ll hear the family “groups” in three stages of ensemble over the years – some now quite older than the previous recordings.
Oh, that significant event? One of the persons in this pic no longer has the same last name. The Kopsas in the Tesco Productions control room.
