Last Sunday Morning A Good Reminder – Finish Well!

John MacArthur speaking at Embassy Suites, LaVista, NE.

This past Sunday I was privileged to help a good friend setup and operate sound for his church and a special guest pastor. The local church in the Gretna area brought John MacArthur from California to the LaVista Embassy Suites for an area church service. We set up speakers in the stage area and interfaced with the house system to provide a music worship time and the message from John.

So what is the reason for writing about this? Well, it’s primarily this. Among the other points John MacArthur made that morning, he talked about what it has taken to serve his church faithfully for 50 years and the importance of “finishing well”. I was reminded how easily I can get distracted from what’s really important and drop the baton even when near the goal line. This can be on a particular project or the wider picture of all that composes this temporal life and preparing for the next. Being past the half-way mark in this race I want to take it to heart to stay focused on the finish line, and reach it successfully in every way. Thanks for the opportunity to hear that reminder.

Primary Recording Sessions Nearly Complete For Musical

One For All Musical Theater has been working on their next performance musical for several months at Tesco Productions. The vocals, instrumentation and narration are nearly completed for an all ORIGINAL rendition of “Phantom of the Opera”. This theater event has been totally written from the ground up with an all new script, songs and narrative. There’s still much more to do in the months to come as pertains to putting all the parts together and adding to these foundational elements. It promises to be an event well worth planning to attend in March of 2020.

The Kopsas’ Latest CD Is Completed

Be Merciful is officially finished and back from the replicator. It took some additional time to put it all together (as can commonly happen), but it was well worth the effort. It’s a nice listen and received initial good response. The Kopsas play in the area and enjoy bringing their family sounds and words to their audiences. The group changes as family members grow up and move on to the next stages of their lives, but they’re still playing with the members who are available. I hope you get to hear them at some point. Thank you for partnering with Tesco Productions on this family project. The Kopsas latest CD "Be Merciful"
