Last Saturday evening over 200 attendees enjoyed the music and message of ‘This Side of Sunday’ at their CD release concert. It was held in Council Bluffs, IA at Refuge Bible Church. The weather granted us rain/snow that day but it didn’t keep folks from celebrating the CD kickoff. We were all treated to plenty of refreshments in the church foyer prior to the music which was much appreciated. My good friend Allyn provided some excellent technology and expertise (and a lot of time) for the Thursday rehearsal and Saturday performance.

The evening was opened by ‘Orphan’s Cry’. This trio certainly set the stage nicely and were a great compliment for what followed. Dwayne (cajon player-This Side of Sunday) said CD sales were off to a great start.

Tom Sharman was recently recognized for providing five years of volunteer service to the Omaha Chapter of SCORE.  He was awarded a certificate of appreciation at their January luncheon.  His service has included small business counseling, production of SCORE public service radio announcements, as well as audio/visual and resource support.

Tom recommends if you’re seeking advice and information for your small business start-up, expansion or on-going operation to utilize the free services provided by SBA SCORE.

In October we let you know that ‘This Side of Sunday’ would be coming in to Tesco Productions to record their first CD. Well it’s now completed and will soon be back from the replicator and in their hands. A lot of effort went into this recording and they’re very excited about this release and we think you will be too. If you enjoy bluegrass music with a contemporary edge and clear Christian message, then go to our audio clips gallery, or their facebook page and website. ‘This Side of Sunday’ has set their CD release concert for Saturday, February 5 at 6pm.  It will be held at Refuge Bible Church, 634 Willow Ave. in Council Bluffs, IA (very near Bayliss Park).

Congratulations guys!
