Stuart Oxford has been into Tesco Productions several times over the past few months laying down the origins of tunes he’s been writing.
His stories in song include reflections on his personal experiences, faith and observations on this world and life around us. Stuart finds coming to the studio helps him hear how the songs are coming together, and having a schedule for the next session keeps him on task to practice and work on his music. He’s become a regular and we’ll see where this journey goes. Keep up the work.

Glory Road Hosts Final Concert
Glory Road Gospel Quartet held their concluding concert earlier this month – wrapping up over 15 years of singing and sharing God’s message with thousands of listeners. Time had brought two members to retirement, one found the mountains of Colorado inviting and the other is raising a family, so the group concluded it was time to leave this part of their lives in memory and thankfulness. I was able to attend along with my wife and another friend and had many on-going reflections as the extended musical evening unfolded. Tesco Productions had the opportunity of recording several of their CDs – in fact Glory Road has the record for the most repeat projects of any musician or group. Thank you for continuing your loyalty and trust as we all worked together over the years putting together each project.
During the course of the evening multiple persons were honored and recognized for their involvement with the group in various capacities – including former and present members. I was also surprised to receive a Certificate of Appreciation which I will highly value over the coming years and display in the studio. Thank you so much. It was an honor to know each of you and to work alongside you in His kingdom. CDs will be available until later in 2016 and information about obtaining them can be found at this link.
Tesco Productions Owner Makes Additional Mile Stone
At the beginning of this month I reported that Tesco Productions recording studio completed 30 years of continuous operation. Well, a couple of weeks later I was surprised when inquiring about the bi-monthly SCORE Luncheon that I had served that organization for 10 years. A brief awards commemoration was conducted by Chairman David Gregg following lunch for other members as well who had passed various milestones with SCORE.
SCORE is the non-profit volunteer branch of the U.S. Small Business Assocation – specializing in mentoring, education and service to the small business community. When Tesco Productions was in its early stages I remember contacting SCORE for advice. I shared with the SCORE members I only wish I would have stayed in touch throughout the years and continued to glean from the decades of wisdom and business insights available from the many volunteers. The Tesco Productions path would have no doubt been smoother and charted more wisely, with a different picture today possibly as well. I highly recommend utilizing the many offerings of SCORE. Most of the services are free, but highly valuable. Thanks for the opportunity of working with you these past 10 years.
