Rayne Magill Completes Release of Thank You Lord

Rayne Magill made a couple of visits to Tesco Productions recently to record fifteen original songs which were released under the title Thank You Lord. The songs are all “written from life” according to Rayne, and reflect her God-given faith and accounts of life’s events. Just acoustic and vocal were recorded originally and then she decided harmonies were in order, and so most of the tunes had another part laid in.
Rayne has been involved in music for many years, and I’ve often met her at the annual NTCMA music week now held in Le Mars, IA (the week prior to and including Labor Day weekend) or at the local GPBOTMA monthly show. She keeps a busy schedule performing at various music events and in care facilities, and will be heard at the Applegrass Festival this coming weekend held at Ditmar Orchards just NE of Council Bluffs.

The disc is an easy listen and I think you’d enjoy hearing Rayne. Let me know of your interest through the contact page and I’ll put you in touch with her. Blessings for a life lived and shared.

Justin Wissink Continuing On Original Praise Songs

Back in May I brought to your attention that Justin Wissink and friends were working on a recording of praise and worship songs. Since then more songs have been added and additional parts on songs already laid down. The last session revisited the electric guitar parts on several songs and some nice overlays and new licks were added. Justin has expanded his music interests with the formation of Wissink Productions. Glory Road “So Far” CD Released

Last Saturday in Council Bluffs, IA an all-day gospel quartet sing was held at the Salvation Army location on N. 16th St. Included in the lineup was Glory Road and their new CD arrived just the day before. The 7th disc the group has recorded includes 15 songs – some favorites requested through the years that were re-recorded and some additional songs not on prior discs. My friend Allyn and I made it for their second presentation and it was fun to hear the songs live the quartet and I had become very familiar with in the studio the several months preceding. The group continues to share the gospel message locally and in a number of Midwest churches and venues. Congratulations on completing another milestone on your musical journey.
